magic on sunday: i've ripped my apartment apart

my apartment is in shambles because i woke up today and decided, sort of spur of the moment that i needed a new couch.

12 hours later, my old couch is now in the home of a fourth year med student who coincidently grew up 20 minutes from me. my new one (in a box still) is in my living room thanks to felix the med student who offered to bring it into my apartment upon seeing that the driver from ikea would only bring it as far as my building's lobby.

a new couch somehow manifested the desire to organize my whole apartment, starting with my sock drawer, then a sorting my jeans, an evaluation of all my work out gear, playing tetris with everything i'm storing in my closet, and finally a reorganization of the matchboxes and incense on top of my dresser. and there's still piles of stuff everywhere.

so, here i am at nearly midnight with a playlist and not much more to send your way.

my apartment is in shambles, the but part of me that loves a fresh start is giddy like it's the night before the first day of school.
